Catholic Charities of Louisville serves people in need, especially the poor and oppressed. Our programs empower individuals and families towards self-sufficiency, transform lives, and create a community where every person is welcomed, valued, and strengthened to reach their full potential. Each in the image and likeness of God.

Consistent with the principles of Christian social teaching, we build bridges of hope, mercy, and justice as we accompany struggling families and individuals to greater self-sufficiency, one relationship at at time. We serve everyone in our community of every faith, color and background.

• Food & Nutrition - We provide emergency food assistance and nutritional support to help individuals and families achieve lasting stability.
• Immigration & Refugee Services - We walk alongside individuals and families at every stage of their journey to provide legal help, housing support, and language access.
• Family Support - We serve families from maternal care to elder advocacy, providing essential goods and support to uplift human dignity in life's most vulnerable moments.
• Anti-Human Trafficking - We help survivors reclaim their lives and provide educational resources to professionals, strengthening the entire community's response to this crisis.
• Skill Building - Job skills, language learning, and training for growth.

• $50 helps buy work boots for a graduate of our job readiness program

• $175 buys a week of groceries to feed a family

• $250 assists with emergency shelter for a mother and her children fleeing domestic violence

• $500 funds a documented immigrant's proper application to become a U.S. citizens

• $1,000 helps a survivor of human trafficking find housing on their path back to wholeness

• $2,500 fills the shelves of our food pantries with non-perishable protein items that are essential to a family's healthy diet
