Every child who walks through our doors should know they are deeply loved by God and deeply valued by our community. Your gift helps us create a place where students grow in faith, confidence, and the arts while experiencing the love of Christ every step of the way. 

A Story of Lasting Impact     

Lydia came to Elevate at 15, at a time when she was discovering that dance could be about more than growing in skill. She found a place where she could continue doing what she loved while being surrounded by biblical truth, meaningful friendships, and teachers who encouraged her to use her gifts to glorify God.

Three classes a week meant three opportunities to hear truth about who God is and who He created her to be. Those years shaped Lydia’s faith and confidence and eventually inspired her to pour into others in the same way. After traveling with Elevate on mission trips to Belize and serving through local outreach, Lydia became an Elevate teacher herself, creating the same kind of safe, encouraging environment for another generation of students.

But Lydia’s story with Elevate didn’t end when she stopped being a student or teacher.

Years later, as Lydia became a mom and her family faced uncertainty surrounding her daughter Aliyah, the Elevate community surrounded them in prayer. Students and teachers prayed for their family, and after Aliyah came home, Elevate students later performed a dance honoring what their family had walked through.

For Lydia, Elevate has always been more than dance. It has been a community that has walked alongside her from teenager, to teacher, to motherhood.
