Green Hill Therapy

At Green Hill Therapy, we empower children with special needs and disabilities (ages 0–21) to reach their full potential through proven, playful interventions. Located on 10 acres in east Louisville, we are the only nonprofit in the state of KY who is certified to incorporate on-site hippotherapy into our occupational and physical therapy treatment plans. If you have never heard the term before, Hippotherapy is the medical name for using a horse’s natural up and down, side to side and rotational movements to address a child’s sensory, physical, cognitive, or behavioral needs. 

From taking first steps to gaining confidence to enter the world with independance, at Green Hill Therapy our team of therapists and horses are the best around! 

Who We Are

Since 2000, Green Hill Therapy has transformed the lives of over 1,400 children with special needs in Louisville and the surrounding communities. All of our therapists are licensed and board certified and use our horses as a dynamic tool to improve sensory and neuromotor outcomes for children. Our proven, playful interventions help our patients play towards their goals, making therapy a fun experience!
