Our mission

LAS works to conserve and restore natural ecosystems—focusing on birds as well as other wildlife and their habitats—for the benefit of humanity and the Earth’s biological diversity.

Our efforts

We partner with like-minded local and national organizations and programs—such as the National Audubon Society and Lights Out—to create and conserve habitat; educate the public about the benefits that birds offer humans; and boost awareness of the perils that the natural world faces in an increasingly human-dominated world.
