W.A.G.S. Pet Therapy of Kentucky, Inc

WAGS (Wonderful Animals Giving Support) Pet Therapy mission is to utilize the relationship between humans and animals to enhance health, independence and quality of life. It also expands awareness of the positive effect animals can have on humanity.

Many of you have been touched in some way by these wonderful animals and their handlers and know the power of pet therapy. Whether at a hospital, school, senior facility or any of the other clients we serve you most likely have had the pleasure to engage with WAGS. 

You may not know that we are an all-volunteer organization funded only by charitable contributions and our member dues. Give for Good is our largest fundraiser for the year. These donations will help us recruit and train more teams as well as cover some of the costs for our organization such as continuing education and other events to improve our reach to the community. Below are some of the comments for those we have served. 

"Students who may have never in their lives been exposed to a dog or may have a lifelong fear of dogs have, with support from staff members and WAGS handlers, grown to love and feel comfortable with Ellie (WAGS therapy dog).
