Give for Good 2026

Since Louisville Habitat was founded in 1985, we have built or renovated over 680 homes. In addition to building new homes, our Critical Home Repair program helps low-income homeowners stay safe, stable, and housed by addressing essential repairs that impact health, safety, and accessibility. In 2025, we completed 158 critical home repairs. Already this year, we have completed 145!

Louisville Habitat is always striving to build more affordable homes for families. Families like Charese and her three daughters. After years of renting a home with unresolved maintenance issues, Charese wanted a safe, stable place that truly belonged to her family. “We deserve to have something we can take pride in,” she shares. “I want to show my girls you can have something of your own.” Today, Charese and her daughters are settled into their Habitat home—a place she reminds them will always be theirs, even as they prepare to begin lives of their own.
