People often ask me why I do this work.
The answer is simple—I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed and to be a part of something bigger for their life.
Over the past several years I've watched young people open their very first savings accounts, adults take control of their finances, and families find a way to survive during difficult seasons.
Earlier this year, I stepped away from my full-time career to devote myself to leading A Hand Up Community Resource Center because I truly believe God has called me to this work.
On September 10, I'm hoping to raise $1000 through Give for Good Louisville.
