The Hanging Gardens on WXOX

I first started this show during my senior year a WUOG Athens, GA. Before then, I hosted a jazz show and a hip hop instrumental show. WUOG showed me the community that comes with noncommercial radio, and the power of radio as an art form. With The Hanging Gardens, I got to explore music that redefined classic for me. It expanded my world and brought such excitement to my life. My only regret with the first iteration of this show was that I started it so late - I only had one semester with this show, but thanks to WXOX, I was able to bring it back to life. Without this station, I wouldn't be able to share my love for experimental and classical music, and get to meet so many wonderful people along the way.
