Clean4Change has changed my life in so many ways. It has taught me not only the importance of caring for your climate, but how to be an active member in your community.
We started this organization from the ground up, working off the idea that we would spread awareness for a topic that mattered deeply to both Shayla and I. I have met so many amazing people, people that have taught me, shaped me, and given me more perspective on the climate justice issue. I have learned more about who I am and what I am passionate about through this organization, and I think it’s important we continue the work to reach many more young people.
It’s important to show young people today that their voice matters, the things they do matter, and where they put their time and energy does matter. We are working to uplift not only the people in our generation, but also to uplift many generations to come.
