I serve on the Board of Directors for St. George’s Scholar Institute (SGSI). We are dedicated to providing out-of-school time educational, leadership, and emotional support programs for youth across Louisville.
This year for Give for Good Louisville, SGSI aims to raise $20,000 to expand our youth programming.
- $25 - Provides snacks for a Scholar for a month.
- $50 - Provides a tutoring session for a Scholar.
- $100 - Provides four field trips for a Scholar.
- $250 - Provides a scholarship for a Scholar to the Reading Rockets Summer Program.
- $600 - Provides one Scholar with a College Tour
One of my favorite SGSI activities is the Reading Rockets summer literacy program. I have so enjoyed reading books to the students each summer.
