MOMSupport is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting single mothers and their families in Louisville and surrounding communities. We believe that being a single mother should never mean having to face every challenge alone.
Many mothers come to us needing something as simple as a box of household supplies, help finding childcare or housing resources, someone to talk to, or guidance on taking the next step in their lives. Sometimes what a mother needs most is simply to know that someone cares.
That is why MOMSupport focuses on more than immediate needs. We want to help mothers build a stronger future.
Through support groups, mentorship, workshops, educational programs, resource assistance, and community partnerships, we help mothers gain access to tools that can improve their lives and strengthen their families.
Our programs cover areas such as parenting, financial literacy, career development, healthy relationships, confidence building, college preparation, meal planning, homeownership, and more.
But our work doesn't stop with programs.
We provide essential items such as hygiene products, household supplies, diapers, wipes, baby items, food, and other resources to mothers and families who need a helping hand. These may seem like small things, but when a family is struggling, a small act of support can make a big difference.
We believe that empowerment starts with meeting people where they are.
When a mother has the support she needs, she can begin to see possibilities beyond her current circumstances. She can build confidence, pursue her education, find employment, create stability for her children, and work toward goals she may have once thought were out of reach.
