Fern Creek Highview United Ministries

“Fighting Hunger-Preventing Homelessness-Caring for the Elderly-Stabilizing Lives” is our Mission.   We are one of the 13 Community Ministries who provide limited financial assistance in Jefferson Co.  We serve zip-codes 40291, 40228, and 40218 for limited financial assistance on Rent and Utilities.  We also provide/are the local Dare to Care food distribution site, Meals on Wheels program, seasonal programs (Back to School, Christmas, Thanksgiving food baskets) and have a licensed Adult Day Health Center who provides care to elderly with dementia, ALZ, etc.   We have small staff and have over 60 volunteers a week help us carry out our mission to help our neighbors.
