We have a house. And it’s ready!!

House of W.O.M.B. is ready to open WOMB Tribe Transitional Housing for pregnant and parenting individuals ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness in Jefferson County.

What this house will do: 

Provide 24 months of safe housing + intensive case management.  

Residents get prenatal care coordination, parenting classes, mental health counseling, GED/job training, and financial literacy — all with a dedicated case manager to build a plan for stability and self-sufficiency.

Our mission:  

To provide a safe place for women and children in crisis- a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings. We protect the women who were left without protection. Just like our founder was as a teenage mother.  

Because every mom and baby deserves safety, dignity, and a real chance!

Why we need support NOW: 

We lost a former client to gun violence, and we’ve seen what happens when housing isn’t safe. That’s why we are committed to opening the RIGHT way!

Your gift helps us hire trained, trauma-informed staff, install security cameras, and provide everything moms and babies need to feel safe and stable.

This isn’t about "just opening a house." This is about saving lives and breaking cycles of poverty.
