Imagination Library of Louisville

A nonprofit organization

The mission of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Louisville is to provide a free monthly book to Louisville children from birth to age five to foster a child’s love of reading and prepare them for kindergarten. We believe that by improving early education in our community, we can contribute to the lifelong success of Jefferson County children. Children who are enrolled will receive a new, free book in the mail every month until they turn 5. The books are addressed to them and are theirs to keep in order to help families build a library in their home at no cost. The books are carefully selected each year by a committee of early childhood education experts to ensure families have a new, age appropriate book to read together every month. Right now, Imagination Library of Louisville is available to all Jefferson County children under five and we want to keep it that way! Support us today to ensure all Jefferson County kids continue to have access to high quality books in early childhood. To learn more, visit imaginationlibrarylouisville.org.
