At MUSCL, we believe a strong community is built when neighbors take care of neighbors. Since 1984, MUSCL has been here for people facing difficult circumstances—providing help with basic needs and offering support when someone may not have family, friends, or other resources to turn to. MUSCL is here to be that helping hand—a trusted emergency resource for neighbors who need support.

Our goal is simple: help keep families safe, healthy, and stable.

Through programs that provide assistance with rent and utilities, our food pantry, clothes closet and our Senior Wellness Center, MUSCL helps our neighbors get through challenging times and remain connected to the community they call home. 

A Community That Cares for Its Seniors

This year, we are asking our community to help us continue a program that brings connection, activity, and wellness to older adults in our community: The Jim King MUSCL Senior Wellness Center.

Our seniors have spent their lives helping build and shape our community. They deserve a place where they can remain active, engaged, connected, and celebrated.

Located at 1016 East Burnett Avenue, the MUSCL Senior Wellness Center is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Center provides opportunities for older adults to nurture their mind, body, and spirit through activities and social connections that promote wellness and quality of life.

But keeping this vital resource available takes community support.

When you give, you are helping make sure our seniors have a place to go, people to connect with, and opportunities to continue living active and meaningful lives.
