Terry knows firsthand what that journey looks like.

Addiction cost Terry nearly everything—including custody of his children. Sitting in prison, hopeless and alone, he believed his future was already written.

But God met him there.

When Terry surrendered his life to the Lord, everything began to change. Through the support of a Christ-centered recovery community, Terry began rebuilding his life, growing in his faith, and pursuing restoration with his children.

His story is a reminder that a person's past does not have to determine their future.

Today, Awake Ministries provides men and women with a place to begin that journey—at no cost to them. Our residents receive housing, meals, discipleship, life skills, workforce development, mentorship, and a community committed to seeing them experience lasting transformation.
