Dianne's "Be Our Safety Net and Help a Neighbor"

As a board member of United Crescent Hill Ministries and a volunteer, I have witnessed the power of our opportunity to be someone's safety net. 

Our four-day-a-week food pantry gives neighbors a place to get much needed groceries. Our rent and utilities assistance program helps families to stay in their homes with the lights on and water running. Our lively 60+ Senior Program creates connections for people who often enjoy eating a meal with others and participating in many fun activities together. We also deliver Meals on Wheels to those unable to visit the center, bringing them much needed food and a personal connection. Our children's programs nourish the other end of the age spectrum by giving children a safe place to play, learn and grow. 

For more than 50 years, United Crescent Hill Ministeries has worked to be the safety net for the people of 40206 neighborhood and the greater Louisville area.  

We're asking you to support our safety net. We are trying to raise $30,000 in this campaign and if successful, it will increase our ability to meet the needs of nearly everyone who will come through our door!  Last year, unfortunately, we had to turn away approximately 500 people because we ran out of funds.
