Hello friends,

I'm excited to support Kentucky Harvest during Give for Good Louisville, our community's biggest day of giving.

As Kentucky Harvest's Director of Development, I have the privilege of sharing the story of an organization that tackles several challenges facing our communities at the same time. Every day, Kentucky Harvest rescues fresh, surplus food that might otherwise go to waste and delivers it to nonprofit partners serving people throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

What I love most about this work is that it addresses multiple issues with a single solution. We help reduce food insecurity, divert good food from landfills, and lessen the environmental impact of food waste, all while strengthening the nonprofit organizations that serve our neighbors.

Since 1987, Kentucky Harvest has rescued more than 88 million pounds of food, turning what could have been waste into millions of meals for people who need them.

This mission is deeply meaningful to me, and I'm proud to be part of an organization that creates such a tangible impact every day.
