Josiah's Fundraiser for Awake Ministries

At Awake Ministries, I help tell people’s stories. I walk with residents who are walking through the challenges of recovery. I photograph volunteers who have shown up consistently for years to make sure our community has enough food. And I see dedicated staff caring for people each and every day. 

I’m grateful for the opportunity to see firsthand how God is working in and through this ministry! Please join me in supporting men and women in recovery and supplying food to neighbors in our community.

My goal for this year is to raise enough to feed 250 families at our food bank and 1 month of recovery for a resident.

Volunteers pick up food donations weekly from our generous community partners, bringing it to our distribution center where it is sorted and given out each Wednesday to hundreds of families in our community.  $800 will help cover operating costs, allowing us to feed 250 families next month.

Residents in our recovery program live on campus as they attend classes, intern at the Paddock, volunteer at local nonprofits, meet with sponsors for discipleship, and attend community events. $1,300 will cover the cost of a month of recovery for one of our residents. That number includes housing, utilities, fuel for our vehicles, curriculum, and other basic needs.
