Hello, my name is Marcus Walker, and this year I’m honored to serve as a fundraising champion for the Marnel C. Moorman Family Life Center in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

I care about this mission because every family deserves a place where they feel welcomed, supported, and valued—a place where they truly belong. At the Marnel C. Moorman Family Life Center, every family belongs.

During my time as the administrator at Clay Street, I have been privileged to witness the meaningful impact the Family Life Center has made throughout Shelbyville and the surrounding community. Through its programs, resources, and relationships, the Center brings people together, strengthens families, and creates opportunities for lives to be changed.

My goal is to help the Family Life Center continue—and expand—this important work. Every gift, regardless of its size, helps provide the support and connections that families in our community need.
