- Awarded prizes are subject to audit and will be finalized by the Community Foundation within 7 BUSINESS DAYS of the Giving Day.
- Prizes will be deposited into organizations’ bank accounts as offline gifts by GiveGab (now becoming Bonterra). Deposits will take up to 21-28 days after the Giving Day to be processed.
- Prizes may be revoked or withheld if gifts or matches can’t be validated or if donations do not qualify as “Unique Donations,” including falsifying donor email addresses or matches.
- A “Gift” or “Unique Donation” is defined as one gift of $10 or more to one organization from one donor. Anyone who attempts to game the system runs the risk of being caught in our audit.
- Gifts made online at GiveForGoodLouisville.org during the early giving period (September 11-13), as well as offline gifts by the Community Foundation of Louisville fundholders, will count towards the Grand Prizes and proportionate match pools (if applicable). Gifts made during the early giving period are not eligible for Golden Tickets, #WhyIGive prizes, or strategic prizes.
- In the event of ties, prizes are split evenly.
- Organizations must be approved by the Community Foundation of Louisville to participate in Give for Good Louisville and verified to receive donations in order to be granted the $100 from the Sparking Generosity for a Decade prize.
- Organizations can win only one Golden Ticket prize throughout the day.
- Organizations that win the Greatest Two Minutes in Giving Prize will not be eligible to receive any other strategic prizes during Give for Good Louisville. If an organization wins a $1,000 strategic prize and the Greatest Two Minutes in Giving Prize, that organization will forfeit the strategic prize, and another organization will be drawn for that particular prize. Organizations that win the Greatest Two Minutes in Giving Prize will still be eligible for the Grand Prizes and proportionate match pools (if applicable).
- Organizations may be awarded up to three $250 grants by the Ambassadors for Good team.
- Organizations may win one #WhyIGive prize, and donors may only be selected to win one #WhyIGive prize.
- Organizations may win one #GiveForGoodLouLIVE Trivia prize.
- Organizations that have indicated Clark, Floyd, or Harrison counties as their mailing address county on the registration form will be eligible for the Southern Indiana match pools.
- Organizations that have indicated Shelby County as their mailing address county on the registration form will be eligible for the Shelby County match pool.
- Organizations in Tier 1 category will be eligible for the Building Nonprofit Capacity Match Pool.
- Organizations may only win one #GiveForGoodLou Trivia prize.
- Prizes are subject to change based on the discretion of the Community Foundation of Louisville.
