I am proud of the man and father I have become. Much of that is because of my Father and the example he set for me. Teaching me about life, struggle, perseverance, relationships and bourbon. His teachings continue to evolve as I experience what it is like to be a Father myself. It is not easy, but in that responsibility lay much purpose and joy.
This is why I support 2Not1! Since 2005, the fantastic folks at 2Not1 provide resources, time and mentorship to empower fathers to be engaged in the life of their child. Assisting in effect co-parenting. They help create father-friendly communities so fathers have access to resources that strengthen their ability to parent, help fathers navigate the child welfare system to reunite families, and enhance the leadership capacity of fathers! Through their efforts they push to build a village and strong community.
So grow a beard to raise funding and awareness for 2NOT1 of Louisville!
In the 2023 NovemBeard Campaign, Baird raised over $13,000 in support of the 2not1 organization, nearly doubling our previous year!
Dr. Shawn Gardner and the 2not1 Team have a mission of promoting the safety and well-being of children by implementing strategies to keep fathers involved and families together.
