Our Mission

Alley Cat Advocates' mission is to provide for the humane treatment of unowned cats in our region by directing a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program in the safest, most efficient, and most cost-effective way possible. 

Our Impact

Since 1999, Alley Cat Advocates has altered more than 75,000 cats, reducing intake at our local shelters and improving the safety of both cats and humans in the region.

On average, Alley Cat Advocates receives 145 calls each week from people seeking help for outdoor cats in their neighborhood. This year, the organization will spay or neuter nearly 7,000 cats, as well as provide them with vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatment, deworming, ear tip, and a full veterinary checkup.
