Angels in Disguise Inc

Angels in Disguise is a nonprofit organization on a mission to celebrate the dignity and value of every child with Down syndrome. We believe every child deserves a loving family, the medical care they need, and the chance to live a full, joyful life. Through adoption grants, heart surgery assistance, and educational support, we walk alongside families as they welcome children with Down syndrome into their hearts and homes.

Each life we touch is a story of hope, resilience, and unconditional love. With more than 160 adoptions and counting, we are witnessing miracles unfold: families united, lives transformed, and communities changed for the better.

One of those miracles is Lainey Soul (First photo in the media gallery). In April of 2025, her parents read her adoption profile: “Baby is here! It’s a GIRL! In California!” Within just 15 days, they went from reading her case, to meeting her birth family, to flying across the country and finally holding their daughter in their arms. Today, Lainey is 8 months old, rolling all over the place, giving the best baby hugs, and even befriending the family dog. Her mom says, “Adopting a child with Down syndrome has been the most beautiful, joyful, and life-giving experience I’ve ever had. My only wish is that we had started sooner, so we could adopt even more incredible kiddos.”
