Bloom Elementary PTA (Bloom Garden Project)

After ten years of continuous use, our beloved school garden is in dire need of renovation.

Help us create an outdoor learning space that gets Bloom students outside more often and learning in nature!

STEAM Outdoor Classroom & Sensory Garden

With your help, we will soon be transforming the garden area to the right of the school steps into a professionally designed outdoor learning laboratory, where students will take their learning outside amongst newly planted native pollinators and edible plants. We will also plant trees to provide much-needed shade for classes gathering in our new Outdoor STEAM classroom.

• Promote K-5 outdoor learning in STEAM and other content areas
• Regrade soil and install sustainable ground cover
• Replace aging raised beds with new metal ones
• Expand our pollinator-friendly native plants to attract wildlife, like butterflies and birds
• Renovate current ramp
• Create multiple outdoor classroom spaces
• Install additional bike racks
