Catholic Charities of Louisville serves people in need, especially the poor and oppressed. Consistent with the principles of Christian social teaching, we build bridges of hope, mercy, and justice as we accompany struggling families and individuals to greater self-sufficiency, one relationship at a time. We serve everyone in our community of every faith, color and background.

Our portfolio of social service programs: 

• Feed the hungry through our food pantries serving west Louisville and the South End.
• Provide help to families with emergency financial aid
• We support new mothers, and protect the elderly living in nursing homes.
• Give hope to refugees and immigrants, helping them become self-sufficent with job skills training.
• Accompany survivors of human trafficking as they reclaim their lives and dignity, and more so much more...

Your Donation Goes a Long Way!

• $25 buys diapers a young mother needs for her newborn baby
• $50 buys work boots for a graduate of our job readiness program
• $175 buys a week of groceries to feed a family of six
• $250 covers emergency shelter for a mother and her children fleeing domestic violence
• $500 funds a documented immigrant's proper application to become a U.S. citizen
• $1,000 helps a survivor of human trafficking find housing on their path back to wholeness
• $2,500 fills the shelves of our food pantries with non-perishable protein items that are essential to a family's healthy diet
