In With Out is a nonprofit with a simple mission: Helping Healers Heal.

Every day, people across our community show up for others. They are social workers, educators, youth workers, foster parents, nonprofit professionals, counselors, caregivers, and other helping professionals who carry the weight of supporting people through difficult circumstances.

But who takes care of the people doing the caring?  That’s where In With Out comes in.

We create meaningful opportunities for the people who support others to pause, reconnect, restore, and grow.  We pour into people who pour so much of themselves into the community through customized

Our work is grounded in authenticity, hope, resilience, rest, justice, and equity. We create welcoming spaces where people can step away from the demands of their work and reconnect with themselves and one another.  Our experiences are practical, creative, and evidence-informed—incorporating mindfulness, storytelling, nature, art, movement, reflection, connection, and restorative experiences.

And we’re already making a difference.

Since our founding in April 2024, In With Out has supported with more than 100 organizations across our community including Metro United Way Youth Success Network, The Ace Project, The Lighthouse Academy, Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Catholic Charities, Fatherhood Symposium, Goodwill Opportunity Center, Jewish Family and Career Services, Backside Learning Center, VOA Restorative Justice, Kentucky Youth Advocates, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Sowing Seeds With Faith, Blueprint 502, The Book Works, Dress for Success, Home of the Innocents, Office of Violence Prevention, Social Justice Youth Development Coalition, Neighborhood House, Family and Children's Place, 300 for 300, UP for Women and Children, and I Would Rather Be Reading.

We have seen what happens when the people who spend their days caring for others are given permission and opportunity to be cared for themselves. 

Participants:
