The L.E.E. Way Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The L.E.E. Way Foundation was started by former U of L Basketball Player, current Phoenix Suns guard Damion Lee and  his mother Michelle Riddick, with the goal to help underserved youth. We strive to have a positive impact on every youth we come in contact with. Your support allows us to continue to pour into the youth of Louisville and expand our initiatives to help the our youth prepare to be successful individuals. Our foundation has provided support to Grace M. James since it's Inaugural year 2020. We have provided Mental Health Seminars, via online and in person, as well as providing monies to assist Gym and S.T.E.A.M. equipment, computer programs (Nearpod, Flocabulary and SEL Curriculum Push Through Organization), Library and Mental Health/Mindful Space Equipment. We've recently completed a Free a 6 week Summer Cooking Class with the summer campers at the Family Chestnut Street YMCA and a one day Basketball Clinic. Our plan is to extend our Summer Cooking Class, teach campers how to prepare economic healthy meals, as well as teaching  them how to read  nutrient labels and more. We will continue to support Grace M. James Academy with monies and an Annual Winter Wonderland Dance, which the students from W.E.B. Dubois also participate.

The L.E.E. Way Foundation is operating through a fiscal sponsorship with Players Philanthropy Fund (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178), a Maryland charitable trust with federal tax-exempt status from the IRS as a public charity under

Section 501(c)(3). Contributions to ERF are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
