Floyds Fork is a beautiful oasis within a developing city. It is a premier wildlife corridor stretching 31 miles and the habitat for over 40 species of fish, 100s of birds and an astounding number of reptiles, amphibians, mollusks, and mammals. 

In addition to the tremendous wildlife, it is a place for people to explore: paddle, walk, run, bike, fish, think, dream, and even heal. The Floyds Fork watershed contains miles of hiking and biking trails, athletic fields, splash parks, playgrounds located within a national award-winning park system. It includes over 15 miles of Louisville Loop and six golf courses. The possibilities for adventure are endless.

Louisville Keep Your Fork is a non-profit that advocates for the Floyds Fork corridor. Our vision is to preserve and protect the beauty, wildlife, and recreation this waterway provides.  Floyds Fork is the last natural living waterway within Jefferson County and these animals depend on clean water and the natural tree canopy for their very existence. Floyds Fork is a natural treasure worthy of protection; the best way to protect the city's beautiful backyard is to showcase its wonders gifted to all Louisville residents and beyond.
