Louisville Literary Arts

Louisville Literary Arts engages writers and readers of all ages and stages. We engage in public readings, festivals, and low-cost workshops throughout the year. Our readings feature both local and nationally recognized poets and writers, career as well as up-and-coming talent. Our open mics, writing workshops, and community outreach programs welcome diverse writers to learn, grow, and celebrate one another's work. ​

LLA is committed to keeping all events and workshops free or low-cost. We believe that the craft of writing should be accessible to all who are moved by the written word. Additionally, we value our featured writers and instructors and are committed to providing them with fair compensation.

All donations will assist us in continuing our commitment to nurturing readers and writers in our community and beyond as we expand our programming for youth and young adult writers who are the future of the literary arts.
