Louisville Youth Philanthropy Council

The Louisville Youth Philanthropy Council (LYPC) is a youth leadership development program that harnesses the power of philanthropy to equip young people with the skills and resources they need to make a positive impact in their communities. Our program uses a hands-on learning approach to cultivate the next generation of compassionate and socially-conscious leaders.

In 18 years, we have had 495 students participate in the program, from 37 different public, private and parochial schools in the Louisville area.LYPC has had over 60 different community leaders from the corporate, non-profit and government sectors come to the classes and interact with the students (some returning multiple times over the years!)LYPC student teams have granted $357,500 to 73 different local non-profit organizations.
