Together, you build a home for a family in need.

This October, students of the Presentation Academy Senior Class of 2027 will travel with Sister Amina Bejos to build a home in honor of Sister Edna Fabre. Together, they will give one family something they have been waiting years to receive: a safe place to call home.

For generations, Sister Edna inspired young women at Presentation Academy to put compassion into action. Her example continues to shape lives today.

This Louisville Gives Day, you can help carry that legacy forward.

This October, students of the Presentation Academy Senior Class of 2027 will travel with Sister Amina Bejos to build a home in honor of Sister Edna. Together, they will give one family something they have been waiting years to receive: a safe place to call home.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

$25 – Provides nails, screws, and essential hardware.

$50 – Helps purchase concrete and mortar.

$100 – Provides lumber for framing walls.

$250 – Helps supply roofing materials.

$500 – Provides windows and exterior doors.

$1,000 – Helps purchase major structural materials to complete the home.

The family has owned a small piece of land since applying for housing assistance, but the cost of building materials has kept their dream out of reach. The father works wherever he can to provide for his family, even leaving home for construction jobs when local work is scarce. Throughout the years, he has volunteered on home builds for other families, helping others while patiently waiting for his own opportunity.

Now it is Javier, Ana, Jose, and Deisy’s chance.

Your gift will provide the lumber, concrete, roofing, doors, windows, and other materials needed to build their home.

For this family, a home means security, stability, and the chance to build a brighter future together.

This home will be built in Belize, but its story begins in Louisville. It begins with students who are ready to serve. It begins with the legacy of a Sister who spent her life helping young people discover their purpose. It begins with generous supporters who believe every family deserves a safe place to call home.
