NouLou Chamber Players

In 2015, a group of Louisville musicians started meeting at each others' houses for "reading parties"- playing through chamber music without rehearsal, just for the fun of it. Soon, though, that wasn't enough- they just had to share this wonderful music with others! 

Now, we are truly humbled to announce our 10th Anniversary Season is about to start this fall! As we reflect on these years with so many memorable & special moments together, we commemorate the following milestones:

• 66 Performances throughout Louisville and beyond including partners & presenters Oxmoor Farm, Conrad-Caldwell House Museum, Filson Historical Society, Treyton Oak Towers, Second Presbyterian Church, Gravely Brewing Company, the Ogle Center at Indiana University Southeast, the University of Louisville New Music Festival, Fête de la Musique Louisville, New Lens presented by 90.5 WUOL and 21c Louisville, Cave Hill Cemetery, Violins of Hope, Sisters of the Loretto Motherhouse, Glema Mahr Center for the Arts, and The Carnegie.
• 6 Commissions with composers Sebastian Chang, Daniel Gilliam, Jack McFadden-Talbot, Alyssa Weinberg, Lev Ljova Zhurbin, and Dorian Wallace.
• 4 Educational Collaborations including Louisville Academy of Music, the University of Louisville, Louisville Youth Orchestra & Oxmoor Farm.
• 2 Recordings - Cellostatus with Nicholas Finch (now released) and Piano Trio No. 2 “Payne Hollow” by Daniel Gilliam (to be released this fall)
• 1 YOU - our audience, sponsors & donors! Your support and enthusiasm keeps us going!

On this Give For Good Louisville Day, we ask for your assistance in any amount for the following:

• Providing our community with intimate chamber music experiences
• Supporting our local composers with commissions & recording projects
• Create new free family concerts such as "Helen & Nora" at Oxmoor Farm
• Contribute support for us to continue our current collaborations & expanding to new ones
