For the past 20 years, the OSI Foundation has served as the philanthropic extension of One Southern Indiana (1si), working to make a lasting impact on the economic vitality of our region. Through the foundations support of economic development and entrepreneurship, we have helped create a stronger and more prosperous Southern Indiana.

Now, we’re building on that legacy with a new opportunity: the Southern Indiana Opportunity Fund.

The Fund is designed to help remove financial barriers that can prevent entrepreneurs, small business owners, nonprofit leaders, and professionals from accessing the education, connections, and resources they need to grow and succeed.

Because sometimes, the difference between having an idea and turning it into something more is simply having access to the right opportunity. 

What Will the Fund Support?

Through donor support, the Southern Indiana Opportunity Fund will provide financial support to help individuals and businesses access opportunities that build knowledge, connections, skills, and capacity.

Support will help provide:

• Education & Training — Workshops and training in areas such as marketing, finance, business planning, AI and technology, HR, and legal basics.
• Networking & Events — Registration assistance for business education, networking, leadership, and economic development opportunities.
• Membership Scholarships — Helping businesses access networking, referrals, advocacy, education, and marketing opportunities.
• Entrepreneur & Small Business Programming — Resources and connections to help businesses start, grow, and thrive.
• Workforce & Professional Development — Opportunities that help individuals build skills, expand their networks, and prepare for what’s next.
