Outside the Box Therapy Inc

Our mission is to help everyone get outdoors and experience the benefits of learning, playing, and growing in nature! At Outside the Box Therapy, we believe that access to outdoor spaces is a universal right, and aim to remove barriers that prevent anyone from having a safe and fun outdoor experience. We value the therapeutic power of time spent in nature, and aim to facilitate these experiences for children, families, and anyone wishing to learn and grow in the outdoors. 

Our primary focus is running nature based, developmental play groups for children in the Louisville, KY area. These groups are led by licensed professionals (occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, certified yoga teachers, etc.) experienced in working with children. We maintain a high adult:child ratio and provide extra supports when needed, to help our children thrive and reap all the benefits of outdoor play! 

We know too many kids in our community don't have regular access to the outdoors. Whether that's children with physical, developmental, or other disabilities, our groups are welcoming to everyone and we love finding creative ways to foster independence and growth during play. All of our programs are offered on a sliding scale fee system, to ensure no family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.
