Race for Aftercare

Race for Aftercare was founded by a group of community members who recognized the need for an organization dedicated to helping retired thoroughbreds.  With the support of community, we can provide lifetime sanctuary.  Supporting Retired Thoroughbreds is a wonderful cause.

Our mission is to rescue Thoroughbreds from neglect or abuse and retire racing thoroughbreds that can no longer perform an equine career, providing them with a second chance at life. We aim to:

1. Rescue:      Identify and intake Thoroughbreds in need, providing immediate care and      rehabilitation.
2. Retire:      Offer a safe and loving sanctuary where Thoroughbreds can live out their      lives in comfort.
3. Educate:      Raise awareness about the plight of retired racehorses and promote      responsible ownership and care.
