Rebirth of a Nation Inc

Let me ask you a question? If we could reduce the crime rate in our country simply, by helping single parent families stabilize their home with resources that both the parent and children need, would you be willing to invest in that?

Rebirth of a Nation focuses on 4 things:

1. Mental Health (Everything starts with a sound mind; if the parent or child is suffering or has suffered trauma in their lives, then living a functional life becomes that much harder)

2. Financial Literacy/Income enhancement (Parents have to understand their financial situation and figure out whether they make enough to stabilize their home; if not, a trade or education may be needed to make a sustainable income)

3. Affordable Housing (This is everyone's issue, but it becomes detrimental to the children who are forced to keep moving throughout the school year because they don't have stability in their lives. According to JCPS 24-25 over 3500 children have been identified as homeless)

4. Educational Enhancement ( I don't really have to say much on this; this is straight from the JCPS website)

Proficient Reading:
Elementary 24% 
Middle 21% 
High 23%

Distinguished Reading:
Elementary 12% 
Middle 11% 
High 12%

Proficient Math:
Elementary 22% 
Middle 18% 
High 17%

Distinguished Math:
Elementary 9% 
Middle 7% 
High 9%

We feel that addressing these 4 areas will create the foundation for stability, and would allow our children to achieve greatness, but it all starts with the "Village" who either want to see real change, or continue with ineptness, dysfunction, and violence we see today.

Please help us connect with or communities most vunerable and valuable, which are single parent families; both mom's and dad's.

We have forgotten "It takes a village to raise our children"  and regardless where you live, how much you make, or how many degrees you have "WE ARE ONE" and without love for others, we will never overcome.
