Sycamore Farm is a God-led ministry dedicated to helping sexually exploited and trafficked women find freedom through the love of Jesus. Since 2019, we have carried out this mission through outreach programs—providing food and hygiene items to women in local hotels, leading Bible studies, and educating incarcerated women about the tactics predators use to groom and control their victims.

In 2023, we opened Louisville’s first emergency residential program for women escaping trafficking. At The Freedom House, women are offered safety, dignity, and a chance at true freedom. Here, and through our long-term residential program, we connect them with supportive resources such as trauma-informed therapy, medical care, and spiritual guidance. We believe healing takes time and consistency, and our programs are designed to walk with women through every step of that journey—without interruption.

The opportunity to heal is rare. Many survivors struggle to trust others enough to take that first step, but when they do, we are ready to respond quickly. The Freedom House provides the first step in their journey, and our long-term program ensures they can continue healing in a safe, Christ-centered environment.

Our name, Sycamore Farm, comes from the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19. Much like the women we serve, Zacchaeus was rejected and cast aside because of his choices and reputation. Yet from a sycamore tree, he saw Jesus—and his life was forever changed. We believe the same is possible for every woman who comes through our doors. Their worth is not defined by their past, but by the love of Jesus, who came to seek and save the lost.

At Sycamore Farm, we walk alongside women as they discover the truth and embrace the freedom only Christ can bring.

Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.  For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”  Luke 19:9-10

We also have a weekly Jail Ministry and offer human trafficking training for the public, 6th grade and up.
