About Wayfinders

Wayfinders ensures that quality support from trained therapists is accessible to children from all backgrounds, regardless of their family’s financial resources.

For many families, investing in support outside of the classroom simply isn’t possible. Wayfinders works to change that, ensuring that children who need additional support can access life-changing services, including reading intervention, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy.

We bring these services directly into the communities where families live, learn, and work, because access shouldn’t be another obstacle. We believe equity begins in the places families call home, and that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

“In addition to our work together planning and implementing family education sessions, Wayfinders provided speech therapy to children at our center. One child had been in need of speech therapy for many months, but the family was unable to afford private pay therapy sessions, and at the time, our center did not have any options for families who needed to use insurance to pay for therapy provided at the center.
