Who We Are

A home and a future for 75 years - Boys & Girls Haven is a private non-profit agency supporting youth and families in Kentucky through a multifaceted and comprehensive continuum of care. We are trauma-informed caretakers providing five core services - Residential Therapeutic Foster Care, Transitional Living Programs, Independence Readiness, Haven Family Counseling Services, and Animal-Assisted Therapy. Our mission is to provide comprehensive services to shelter, heal, and empower youth while offering critical support to individuals and families. Our vision is to be a definitive leader and innovator in social services, and to strengthen and support children, young adults and families.

This year, we want to welcome 75 new donors, each giving $75 - to go towards our child care and family counseling services in Kentucky. When you participate in KY Gives Day, your donation will provide resources for our children so that they can heal and thrive. 

75 for 75 Giving Campaign 

This year, Boys & Girls Haven is honored to celebrate 75 years of changing lives. Since 1950, we have been a safe haven for young people, providing the support, stability, and care they need to heal and build brighter futures. 

To commemorate the anniversary, we’re launching a 75 for 75 Giving Campaign. Our goal is to welcome 75 new donors—each giving at one of our impact levels—to help safeguard the next 75 years of hope and healing at Boys & Girls Haven. Each giving level offers a meaningful way to be recognized for your impact.

💙 $75 – Cover a week of meals for a young person in our care

💙 $750 – Support housing and essential needs for a youth transitioning to independence

💙 $7,500 – Fund life-changing therapy and counseling services for multiple children

💙 $75,000 – Fund extensive upgrades to facilities and living space
