Down Syndrome of Louisville

For nearly 50 years, Down Syndrome of Louisville (DSL) has supported individuals who have Down syndrome and their families through lifelong programming, resources, and community. What started as the dream of a few dedicated parents who wanted something better for their children has grown into an organization that supports over 1,300 families across 32 counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

New parents are introduced to First Steps. Toddlers are enrolled in our new preschool. Children and teens can further their education and build community through programs like S.E.E. Camp and Teen Club, while adults can explore their potential through Career Support and lifelong learning opportunities. As those children find jobs in the community and continue their education through DSL's Adult Academy and Living & Learning program, DSL welcomes those looking for the support and resources that didn't exist before we began.

No one ages out of our programming. We are committed to lifelong support and advocacy, and, with your help, we can continue to grow our community built on inclusion and opportunity to ensure that our members can thrive for years to come.
