Who we are

HighPoint is the principal resource for basic needs support in our area. We are a volunteer driven organization working to bring wholeness to the community by sharing of the Gospel and meeting physical needs. HighPoint exists to meet the needs of children, fragile adults, the elderly, and families. HighPoint helps with resources to reduce the suffering of families caught in the cycle of hunger, poverty and homelessness.

TOGETHER, with over 300 volunteers serving each week, local mission partners, business supporters, prayer warriors, and faithful donors like yourself, we meet with families regularly to understand their circumstances, meet needs where we can, coordinate community support and pray for them. 

Who we serve

Families who visit HighPoint for help with basic needs are severely affected by the surge in the cost of living. In the month of August alone, HighPoint served an average of 402 clients each week and 51 new clients because their income is not enough to cover their expenses. 

It's heartbreaking to see our neighbors, friends, and fellow community members feeling afraid and hopeless, struggling to feed their families, pay the rent, afford prescriptions, and fuel their cars to get to work. As a friend of HighPoint, TOGETHER, we can make a difference.

Invest in Your Community. Invest in HighPoint. 

This year, we are excited to kick off Give for Good Louisville. Whether you are thinking of giving $25 or $2,500 or anything in between, every donation counts! All proceeds raised during the Give for Good Louisville event will be applied directly to our debt-free campaign. When you invest in HighPoint, you are investing in your community.

In 2017, HighPoint purchased our current building for $650K and obtained a mortgage for a portion of the purchase. Since 2017, through the generosity of the community, we have completed two capital projects without adding to our original debt: the Grace Resource Center and The HighPoint Community Kitchen, all while growing revenue to cover our operating and programming expenses.

We thank God for His provisions beyond what we could imagine and He accomplished this through YOU! Now, we need your help in this special campaign to pay off our facility mortgage and make HighPoint debt-free!
