This year, all funds raised with Give for Good Louisville Day will support our new Inpatient Hospice Care Center.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life. This center is a powerful extension of that mission. 

Hosparus currently provides hospital-level care through our Inpatient Care Center, located on the top floor of a former hospital in downtown Louisville. But a hospital is not always the ideal setting for hospice. Patients and families deserve something more. They deserve a space where peace, comfort, and compassion are just as present as clinical excellence. 

The new Inpatient Center, part of our Louisville campus expansion, has been intentionally designed not to look or feel like a hospital. The groundbreaking on September 16, 2025 was the beginning of the final chapter in our Places of Compassion campaign. 

The site, at 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, is centrally located, easily accessible for families in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, and provides a tranquil neighborhood setting while still being near amenities, such as restaurants, lodging, and shopping. The Care Center includes:

• 21 patient rooms
• a chapel
• meditation area
• spaces for families to hold celebrations and gatherings

This new Hospice Care Center will complete our vision for a holistic campus of compassionate care right here in Louisville.

Hosparus Health is dedicated to promoting equal access to healthcare for every member of the community. Our interdisciplinary teams provide a range of services for serious illnesses, including hospice care, palliative medicine, symptom and medication management, medical care, grief counseling, and community mental health resources. With the help of over 600 employees and 500 volunteers, the organization supports more than 10,000 patients and families every year.
