Building bridges across Louisville through interfaith community connection and collaboration.

Intertaith Paths to Peace connects and inspires local leaders, initiatives and houses of faith to raise awareness and explore interfaith solutions around violence reduction, racial equity and cross-cultural peacebuilding

Interfaith Paths to Peace (IPP) works to coordinate and empower cooperative action in Louisville for social transformation and renewal. Since our beginnings in 1996, we have centered our peacebuilding initiatives in four areas: community-based violence interruption, multi-sector coalition building, interfaith understanding and collaboration, and migrant/refugee welcome and integration. We generate initiatives that unite and organize people of diverse faiths, races, cultures, and traditions to create a more just society wherein we all get to experience wellbeing. IPP is committed to uplifting the voices of marginalized and underrepresented communities.

We couldn’t do all this without you. Your support matters. Because in order to build peace, we must work to reduce violence and increase cooperation.

We know that faith communities and grassroots organizations play an important role in violence prevention work. IPP has expanded its scope to steward collaborations that link individuals and communities with the resources they need to heal from generations of trauma and oppression. Our Summit for Safety and ongoing work with the Louisville Alliance for Sustainable Gun Violence Reduction defines our role in violence reduction in our community. Too, this year we partnered with the Center for Interfaith Relations to launch the Kentucky Interfaith Network - a statewide initiative bringing faith communities together in common action.

Your contribution will help Interfaith Paths to Peace build its capacity to expand our efforts across interfaith capacity building, racial equity, intercultural peacebuilding and violence reduction. Together, we are all working towards a more peaceful and just Louisville and beyond.
