Give for Good 2025

At Kentucky Science Center, science goes beyond our walls - it builds communities, sparks curiosity, and empowers futures. That’s why our “Science in Our City” initiative brings hands-on learning to neighborhoods across Louisville every day.

Take Nicole, a middle schooler in our JCPS after-school program. She started out shy and disengaged. But with encouragement and interactive challenges, Nicole discovered a love for science and her confidence soared. Today, she’s a classroom leader, mentoring peers and greeting teachers with a smile.

Nicole’s journey shows how science can transform lives. Through school expos, classroom visits, and free community events, we reach 32 zip codes, welcome over 100,000 Jefferson County residents, and bring offsite programs to more than 16,000 people.

By donating today, you us bring science to every corner of our city.

What Your Gift Can Do:

$500 supports Pulse of Surgery for a class of 25 students. 

$300 takes one Science Expo to schools, libraries, and community centers across Jefferson County.

$139 supports one family with a Community Access Membership. 

$21 supports one student's field trip admission to our Flagship Facility.
