🌿 Help Fuel Our Community’s Health

Let Us Learn puts fresh food—and hands-on knowledge—into the hearts of our community.

We’re a small-but-mighty nonprofit based in Floyd County, Indiana, focused on increasing access to healthy food through school gardens, education, and community-powered produce distribution.

Meet Vada and Adalyne

They planted their first vegetables this year at Earth Stewards Summer Camp, and proudly brought home a basket of fresh produce. Through Let Us Learn’s school garden, they discovered healthy food in the most joyful, hands-on way.

🥕What’s Driving Food Insecurity—And What We’re Doing About It

Rising food prices and shrinking SNAP benefits are pushing more families into food insecurity in our community. We address the root causes—access, cost, knowledge, and utilization—so no one in our community goes without fresh, nutritious food.

💚 Why Your Gift Matters

Your Support Plants the Seeds. We Help Them Grow.

👧 Kids taste fresh-picked veggies they helped grow. 👨‍👩‍👧 Families bring home healthy, local produce from our Veggie Rescue stand. 📚 Students learn lasting lessons about food, nutrition, and sustainability.

Your generosity doesn’t just support programs—it nourishes futures.

💬 What Our Supporters Say

"When I was teaching at NAFCS, Let Is Learn provided us with raised bed gardens on our Preschool playgrounds! Not only did the first and second graders who helped plant the garden benefit from learning about seeds and taking pride in their work ethic as they carefully measured and planted at the appropriate depth, the garden provided a place of magic and enchantment for my sweet Preschoolers."

 - Miranda Schwartz - Former Preschool teacher at S. Ellen Jones Elementary School

"Let Us Learn has helped our family so much. It helped Vaughan learn to try new vegetables and he learned that he loves peppers and tomatoes. Getting a garden during COVID not only gave us healthy food it gave us something fun to do as a family and Vaughan has always been so proud of it and how well it does. We still use our garden and look forward to growing new vegetables every year."

- Missie House Blair - Mom of "Growing Gardeners Club" Participant

"Wow, when I think back on that time, I remember Charlie starting his garden and how much fun we had with it, going out every afternoon to water and weed and it was something we had a lot of fun with and looked forward to. He still loves to garden and pretty sure he always will."

- Micki Rone - Grandparent of "Growing Gardeners Club" Participant

Mae, one of our Earth Stewards campers, was thrilled to harvest and take home one of her favorite veggies—celery!
