Louisville Classical Academy is a small, independent, preschool-9th grade school located in the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. LCA’s mission is to provide a rigorous classical education to students of all backgrounds. The “Classical” in our name refers to our traditional and effective instruction, challenging reading lists, and strict technology policy which eliminates the use of almost all digital devices throughout the whole day. We have an average class size of eight students to ensure that every student receives the care and support they need to succeed with this outstanding curriculum. 

LCA’s enrollment has doubled in the last three years, and by partnering with Louisville Classical Academy, you are propelling the school into exciting new stages of this growth: building the high school through adding a grade each year, developing the sports program, opening new sections of classes, expanding the school’s ability to recruit families of all financial backgrounds, and countless more opportunities, all with the aim of providing the very best education for our students.
