Give for Good Louisville is Thursday, September 10

Every gift made online through this page counts toward LCA's total. Gifts count toward Give for Good prizes only when they are made online.

Every gift to LCA this week, September 8 through 11, is matched by the LCA Board of Directors, up to $10,000.

You can also start your own fundraising page for LCA. Press the Fundraise button above, then share your page with family and friends. Every gift made through your page counts toward LCA's total.

On Thursday evening, the Greatest Two Minutes in Giving runs from 7:15 to 7:17 p.m. Every gift placed in those two minutes is an entry in six prize drawings of $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000. Fill out the form a few minutes early so your gift lands inside the window.

Join us Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Locals Food Hub and Pizza Pub, 822 E. Broadway, for LCA Night, and give together at 7:15.

Louisville Classical Academy is a small, secular, independent, preschool-10th grade school located in the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. The “Classical” in our name refers to our traditional and effective instruction, challenging reading lists, and strict technology policy which eliminates the use of almost all digital devices throughout the whole day. Our classes are capped at twelve students to ensure that every student receives the care and support they need to succeed with this outstanding curriculum.

LCA’s enrollment has more than doubled since 2022, and by partnering with Louisville Classical Academy, you are propelling the school into exciting new stages of this growth: building the high school through adding a grade each year, developing the sports program, opening new sections of classes, expanding the school’s ability to recruit families of all financial backgrounds, and countless more opportunities, all with the aim of providing the very best education for our students.

What Your Gift Covers

Gifts to LCA through Give for Good go to the school's operating fund, which pays for everything below. These are real costs from this year's budget, so you can see what a gift of any size does for a student.

• $5 covers a beginning reader that a first grader takes home and keeps.
• $35 covers one student's field trips for the whole year. LCA pays every trip cost, and families are never billed.
• $100 covers the supplies for the 8th grade's fall chemistry experiments.
• $500 covers the whole-school Thanksgiving feast.
• $1,000 covers a teacher's stipend to run an after-school course for a semester.

Every gift of $5 or more counts as a donation to LCA on Give for Good Louisville, whatever its size.

We are so grateful for your generosity!

Please note: if you donate anonymously, we will not be able to thank you for your gift, nor include your gift in our community participation rates.
