Who We Are

A group of parents came together 38 years ago worried what would happen to their children with disabilities when they could no longer care for them. From this concern, Apple Patch Community was formed.

We have since grown from a single home to a system of supports, including residences, engagement centers (day programs), case management, and positive behavior supports. To better represent our services and the support we provide in the community, we re-branded to Pillar in 2018. We now serve over 200 individuals with disabilities by providing the assistance to live lives full of opportunity and choice.

Our engagement center locations can be found in the Russell neighborhood in Louisville, Bon Air in Louisville, Crestwood Station, and Apple Patch in Crestwood.
