The Caring Hands Fund

The Caring Hands Fund at Presbyterian Homes of Kentucky is supported by generous donors like you who want to give back to seniors. All disbursements from the fund go directly to residents of Presbyterian Homes communities to help them afford the cost of their care and housing needs. It is our mission to welcome all who could benefit from our support, even if their financial resources are limited. Help us create options for those who would like to live independently but also want to be part of a community. 

A Growing Need

A 2019 study by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) found that 54% of seniors will not be able to afford the cost of housing and care by 2029. And that was before the pandemic and the high inflation rates that followed it. Presbyterian Homes seeks to support the "forgotten middle" market of seniors who have too much resource to qualify for government assistance but not enough resource to meet their housing and care needs as they age. To do that, we need your help. Our Caring Hands Fund enables these seniors to thrive in intergenerational communities where their needs are fully met with dignity.
