Spay Anyway

We are a spay/neuter assistance program for cats. We help with both stray and owned cats. For strays, we help people who are unable or unwilling to trap and get them to our local TNR program. For pets, we help people who cannot afford to have their cats fixed. Most of the people we help do not have carriers or transportation, so our volunteers get their cats to and from the appointment. We help many 20-40 cat situations get under control. We also help pet owners with food and supplies at the time of spay/neuter appointments for their pets, as needed. In 2024, we helped 1,798 cats get altered and 1,479 of them needed transportation assistance from our volunteers. Providing transportation is KEY to helping people get their pets fixed and making sure they get to the appointment. 

We do not have any staff members. We are all volunteers just trying to help cats and reduce suffering. Aggressive spay/neuter efforts is the only way to reduce the suffering and strain in our community. All donations go directly to the cost of spay/neuter/and vaccines for under-served cats in the Louisville area. We have no overhead and no salaries to pay.
